Avery Travel Group LLC, Terms and Conditions

DOCUMENTATION: Travel documentation appropriate for entry to your itinerary destinations, such as passports, visas & inoculation certificates, remain each traveler’s responsibility. It is each traveler’s responsibility to make certain that they have proper immunizations before travel - please see your health provider for advice. Everyone, including children and infants, MUST have a VALID passport to travel internationally. Failure to comply will result in denial of boarding, no refund, no exceptions (out of the USA). Avery Travel Group is not responsible for passports in any way. Passports are required to be valid for 6 months from your return date. PASSPORT CARDS ARE NOT VALID FOR TRAVEL INTERNATIONALLY VIA AIR. Each foreign country holds different views of past criminal offenses - if you have a current or past offense, please contact that country directly for entry and exit requirements. Travelers with DWI or DUI records should check whether current rules exclude admission to foreign destinations. Avery Travel Group feels it is an invasion of privacy to make such an inquiry and these requirements remain the traveler’s responsibility. CHANGES TO RESERVATIONS: ANY changes made to your existing room, tours and airfare reservations are subject to the current rates, promotions, change fees (including name change) and terms at the time of change.

 

FINAL PAYMENT: The final payment MUST be received NO LATER THAN 60 days prior to departure unless otherwise specified by travel agency. Final payments are not automatically charged, though email reminders will be sent. You must notify the agent on the date you'd like the payment to be posted. Avery Travel Group is not responsible for cancellations due to payments made after this date. Late fees will apply.

 

LATE FEES: Final payments not received prior to the due date above will incur a $25 per person late fee. All reservations are subject to cancellation and hotel penalties as described above if final payment is not received on the due date. Late fees are not covered by the travel insurance and are always non-refundable.

 

CANCELLATION PENALTIES: Pertaining to the room portion of your trip; once your reservation is made a $100 per person penalty will be assessed up until any additional resort penalties take effect. Regarding Airline tickets: if Avery Travel Group booked your tickets, they are 100% non- refundable and subject to individual airline penalties/fees. All cancellations must be received in writing.TRAVEL INSURANCE: Travel Insurance is always recommended by Avery Travel Group, although it is not required.  Your Avery Travel Group Agent will quote your insurance policy cost upon initial trip quote. Insurance should be purchased within 7 days of the trip deposit for the most coverage. TRAVELING WITH CHILDREN: Children under 18 years of age not traveling with both parents or legal guardian(s) may need to present a notarized letter from the absent parent/guardian granting permission to travel outside the United States and provide emergency medical care if necessary. Avery Travel Group, is not responsible for lack of compliance to provide proper documentation to airport authorities. It is the responsibility of the traveler & the traveler’s parents/guardians to provide proper documentation to airport authorities.

 

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: Travel documents will be sent to you no later than seven (7) days prior to departure date. Please read through these documents immediately; misprints, misspellings, incorrect dates etc. are not the responsibility of Avery Travel Group included in your travel documents (if airfare is purchased through Avery Travel Group) are airline electronic ticket receipts (proof of purchase, not boarding passes or actual tickets). Boarding passes are printed at the time of check in; online with the airline directly, or at the airport when showing passport & checking in luggage. It is very important that you take your travel documents with you in addition to passports and a major credit card for any baggage fees that may apply.

 

BAGGAGE FEES: Due to continual changes in airline baggage policies it is suggested that you inquire with your airline's website for up-to-date fees & information. Avery Travel Group is NOT responsible for additional fees incurred for baggage or seating.

 

AIRLINE SCHEDULE CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS: Occasionally airlines change flight schedules, & may even cancel flights entirely. These changes are beyond Avery Travel Group's control. In the event that such a situation occur; we will do our very best to assist you with finding the best possible alternate option(s). If the flight time change is minor (2 hours or less) the airline will automatically make the change (airline policies/rules entitle them to legally do so).  Please Note: there may be additional costs to rebook a new flight should the airline cancel or make a major change to your original flight itinerary. Avery Travel Group is NOT responsible for any additional costs or fees imposed by the airlines. It is the responsibility of the passenger to check for last minute airline flight time changes within 24 hours of departure. Avery Travel Group is not responsible for changes that may occur within 24 hours of original flight departure time. Avery Travel Group does not guarantee any connections, scheduling, or handling of baggage or other personal effects.

 

RECONFIRM YOUR FLIGHTS: Avery Travel Group advises you to personally re-confirm your flight schedule within 24 hours prior to departure directly with the airline in case of any last minute changes or delays. Most airlines allow you to check in online 24 hours prior to departure using the “Record Locator” (found in your documents)

 

AIRLINE CHECK IN: Please check in with your airline at the airport no later than two (2) hours prior to scheduled flight departure time.

 

Avery Travel Group (herein “Travel Agency”) is acting as a mere agent for our SUPPLIERS in selling travel-related accepting services, or in accepting reservations or bookings for services that are not directly supplied by this Travel Agency (such as air and ground transportation, hotel accommodations, meals, tours, cruises, etc.). Avery Travel Group, therefore, shall not be responsible for breach of contract, failure to comply with any laws such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), or any intentional, negligent actions or omissions on the part of such suppliers, which result in any loss, damage, delay, inconvenience or injury to travelers or travelers’ companions or group members.Avery Travel Group or its agents shall not be responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses caused to any traveler in connection with terrorist activities, social or labor unrest, mechanical or construction failures or difficulties, diseases, local laws, climatic conditions, abnormal conditions or developments, or any other actions, omissions, or conditions outside the travel agent’s control. In the event of a tariff or rate dispute with one of our suppliers, the traveler must contact Avery Travel Group at the earliest possible time.By embarking upon his/her travel, the traveler voluntarily assumes all risks involved in such travel, whether expected or unexpected. Traveler is hereby warned of the above risks as well as possible travel industry bankruptcies and medical and climatic disruptions, and the possibility traveler may be unable to travel as scheduled because of personal emergency. Travelers are advised to obtain appropriate travel insurance coverage against these risks.
